Gregor Muir

Gregor Muir is the Executive Director of the ICA. He was previously Director of Hauser & Wirth (London), one of the world's leading contemporary art galleries.

Muir curated YBA group shows such as Lucky Kunst and Liar, as well as seminal video programmes including Speaking of Sofas and Drugs with Carsten Hiller. More recently he curated 'London in Zurich', featuring a new breed of young artists from London, and 'Old School' held at Hauser & Wirth Colnaghi, featuring works by contemporary and old master artists.

He has been a critic and writer for various cutting-edge publications such as Dazed & Confused, Parkett and Frieze magazine. His first book, Lucky Kunst: The Rise and Fall of Young British Art, was published by Aurum Press in 2009.
