Helen Heckety

Helen Heckety (née Seymour) is a disabled writer from Kent, UK. Before writing her first novel, she performed spoken word/alternative comedy shows, wrote poetry and worked in a library. Her debut collection of poetry, The Underlook, was published by The Poetry Business in 2021, with poems about dating, surgery, psychics, and the case of a missing piglet; her debut novel, Alter Ego, will be published by Renegade in 2024.
