Jenny Bayliss

Jenny Bayliss lives in a small seaside town in Kent with her husband, their children having grown and flown. At the age of thirty-nine, Jenny attended Canterbury Christ Church University as a part-time, mature student – to fit around her career as a baker - and graduated with a First Class BA in Creative and Professional Writing. 

Her debut novel The Twelve Dates of Christmas was published in 2020. This was followed by The Winter of Second Chances (2021), Meet Me Under the Mistletoe (2022), and A December to Remember (2023). Her most recent novel, Kiss Me at Christmas, was published by Penguin in 2024. She also writes for children and young adults under the name Jenni Jennings. 

She lives for coffee, candles, and books and has absolutely no qualms about stalking her adult children on every available media platform if they don’t answer her calls within a one-hour time window.
