Kate Medina

Whilst doing a first degree in Psychology, Kate Medina joined the Territorial Army, where she spent five years, ending up as a Troop Commander in the Royal Engineers. She has worked in publishing, as Managing Editor, Land Based Weapon Systems, at Jane's Information Group, as a strategy consultant and as a lecturer at The London School of Economics. She now writes full time.

Kate Medina's first novel — White Crocodile, written under the name KT Medina — was published by Faber and Faber in 2014. Her second novel, Fire Damage, was the first in a series featuring criminal psychologist, Dr Jessie Flynn, and published in 2016 by HarperCollins; Scared to Death and Two Little Girls, second and third in the series, followed. The fourth in the series, The Watcher, was published in 2020.
