Lucy Foulkes

Dr Lucy Foulkes is a psychologist who researches adolescent mental health and social development. She is an honorary lecturer in psychology at UCL. Prior to this, Lucy was a lecturer at the University of York and a postdoctoral researcher at UCL?s Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. She completed her PhD in psychology at UCL in 2015.

Her first book — What Mental Health Really Is...(and what it isn't) — was published by Vintage in 2022. Her second — Coming of Age: How Adolescence Shapes Us — will follow in 2024.
