Manjit Kumar

Manjit Kumar is the author of the critically-acclaimed Quantum, which has been published in 12 languages and was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson Prize in 2009. He is also the co-author of Science and the Retreat from Reason, an introduction to key areas of modern science which defends notions of social progress and scientific advance. He has degrees in physics and philosophy and writes and reviews for various publications including New Statesman, Times, Financial Times, Guardian and the Literary Review.
