Nilo Tabrizy
Nilo Tabrizy is a video reporter for The Washington Post's Visual Forensics team where she uses open-source investigative reporting tools to report on Iran. Before joining The Post, she worked as a video journalist at the New York Times, where she covered Iran, race and policing, and abortion access. While at The New York Times, she won the Scripps-Howard Award, the Newswomen of New York’s Front Page Award for Best Online Investigation and was nominated for an Emmy Award. Nilo’s reporting has been covered on KALW radio, Democracy Now!, La Tercera, and Harvard University’s Nieman Report. She holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.
