Tom Allan

Tom Allan works as a thatcher in South Devon. He's also a freelance journalist, writing about the natural world for the Guardian's Country Diary column and the travel sections of the Financial Times and the Guardian. He's written on environmental topics for the Guardian, taz (Berlin), the Earth Island Journal, British Wildlife Magazine and Eurasianet. He was educated at New College, Oxford.
