Three Janklow and Nesbit Authors on Royal Society Science Book Prize 2018 Shortlist

An extraordinary three titles by Janklow & Nesbit UK clients have been shortlisted for the Royal Society Insight Investment Science Book Prize 2018: Inventing Ourselves by Sarah Jayne Blakemore, The Unexpected Truth About Animals by Lucy Cooke and Hello World by Hannah Fry.

"Our six shortlisted books exemplify contemporary science writing at its best: all are grounded in rigorous research, hugely accessible and framed around a compelling narrative." - Dame Frances Ashcroft FRS FMedSci, chair of the 2018 judging panel.

Since 1988, the Royal Society Science Book Prize has celebrated outstanding popular science writing and authors. Over the decades, the Prize has celebrated some notable winners including Bill Bryson, Stephen Hawking, and most recently Cordelia Fine with her compelling treatise on the science of gender Testosterone Rex. Each year our panel of expert judges comprising eminent scientists, authors, journalists and broadcasters choose the book that they believe makes popular science writing compelling and accessible to the public.

The winner will be announced at the award ceremony, taking place on Monday 1 October presented by Professor Brian Cox. The ceremony is open to the public and free to attend.
