Cally Beaton
Cally Beaton is a comedian, writer, keynote speaker, business leader, podcaster and entrepreneur. She has held senior management positions at some of the biggest media companies in the world. Early in her career she headed an independent television production company that was bought by ITV and became the youngest and only female member on the board. She went on to do a ten-year stint as Senior Vice President at the US studio giant ViacomCBS and it was while working for Comedy Central that Cally was nudged into the sphere of performance after a chance conversation with the late, great Joan Rivers, then 81; and so it was that as a 45-year-old single parent, she first took to the stage. Cally made her debut appearance on the BBC’s Live at the Apollo at the age of 53 and is a TV and radio regular. Her popular Instagram reels have amassed over 100 million views and counting and in 2021 she launched her hit Namaste Motherf*ckers podcast. Her first book — Namaste Motherf*ckers: A Modern Manifesto for Keeping Cool When You're a Hot Mess — will be published by Headline in July 2025.
