Daisy Fancourt
Dr Daisy Fancourt is Professor of Psychobiology & Epidemiology at University College London and Head of the Social Biobehavioural Research Group. Her research on the health impact of social behaviours has received over £30 million in research funding and won over two dozen national and international research awards, including a Philip Leverhulme Prize, the British Science Association Jacob Bronowski Award, and the British Academy Rising Star Award. Daisy is a BBC New Generation Thinker and has presented a number of programmes including for BBC Radio 3 and BBC Ideas, for whom her video on arts on prescription went viral in 2017 receiving over 1 million views. Daisy is Director of the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Arts and Health, a Technical Advisor to the WHO, an Expert Scientific Adviser to UK Government, and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.
