E.B. Pearson

Chantel holds a PhD in Anthropology and has spent her career uncovering the stories embedded in both cultural traditions and the physical remnants of the past. Deeply influenced by her Southeast Asian heritage, she is passionate about reclaiming and reimagining the myths, legends, and histories that colonialism sought to silence. 

When not writing or excavating the past, she works in the eye care industry, leading initiatives that bring accessible eye health screenings to underserved communities. She spends most of her personal time with her son and husband, and can often be found hiking the Rocky Mountains or planning their next great adventure!
