Laura Freeman
Laura Freeman is a freelance writer and art critic for the Times, Sunday Times, Spectator, Telegraph, Apollo, Literary Review, Standpoint, World of Interiors and TLS. She is a former dance critic for the Evening Standard, and her work has been short-listed for Feature Writer of the Year at the British Press Awards.
She read History of Art at Cambridge, graduating with a double first in 2010. She is the author of two books: The Reading Cure: How Books Restored My Appetite (W&N, 2018) and Ways of Life: Jim Ede and the Kettle's Yard Artists (Jonathan Cape, 2023).
