Elly Griffiths shortlisted for CWA Dagger in the Library
Unlike most other literary prizes, the Dagger in the Library is awarded for an entire body of work rather than an individual book. Elly Griffiths is the author of the Dr Ruth Galloway series of forensic archaeology mysteries and the Stephens & Mephisto series, and her work has consistently received critical acclaim. The first Dr Ruth Galloway book, The Crossing Places, won the Mary Higgins Clark Award in 2011, and was shortlisted for the Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year, as were The Outcast Dead in 2014 and The Ghost Fields in 2015.
