J&N David Bellos Translation Prize - Shortlist Announcement

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the shortlist of J&N's inaugural DAVID BELLOS TRANSLATION PRIZE 🎊

We were delighted to receive over 100 submissions in 46 languages from 42 countries around the world, from Bangladesh to Brazil, Slovakia to South Korea, Croatia to Columbia, Ukraine to Uruguay. We’ve been amazed at the range and quality of submissions, across genres including body horror, speculative, political allegory, family saga, spy thriller, and many more! In whittling down the entries, we had the pleasure of reading the work of so many fantastic translators.
