We're delighted to announce that two Janklow authors have been recognized in this year's Rathbones Folio Prize. Sunjeev Sahota has been shortlisted for his novel China Room and Olivia Laing's Everybody is a title on the longlist. There will be a series of special Rathbones Sessions throughout March with the winner being announced on 23rd March in a live ceremony at the British Library.

We're delighted to announce that Reece Jones' White Borders has been shortlisted for the Stowe Prize 2022. The Stowe Prize recognizes a distinguished book of general adult fiction or non-fiction that illuminates a critical social justice issue in contemporary society in the United States. Jones' book is highlighted for being ?the first book to show that immigration laws in the US have always been motivated by racial exclusion & the desire to save the idea of a white America.?

The wonderful Elly Griffiths has won two awards at The Crime Fiction Lover Awards 2021. Her novel The Night Hawks was picked by the public for Best Novel and she was also chosen for Best Author. Her book THE NIGHT HAWKS has been shortlisted for Best Crime Novel 0f 2021 as well as being nominated herself for Crime Author of the Year. Votes for the winners are open now.

Congratulations to Stefanie Posavec and Miriam Quick for their shortlisted title I am a Book. I am a Portal to the Universe! The award is for 'educational writing that stimulates and enhances the learning experience', and the six shortlisted books are aimed at readers aged 5-11 to help them explore topics such as inspirational disabled role models, climate change and difficult emotions. The winner will be announced on 7th December during a reception at the House of Commons.
